The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court’s current-membership page lists Amit P. Mehta, District of Columbia / D.C., Date Designated June 1, 2021, term expires May 18, 2028. The Federal Judicial Center records other federal judicial service as Judge, Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, 2021–present. Those two official pages lock the year as Fact.

By statute, the Chief Justice designates FISC judges. 50 U.S.C. § 1803. The FISC table does not print the designating name next to Mehta. This site does not invent a signed designation order that is not in hand.

Sequence, not a joint warrant. James E. Boasberg’s D.C. court biography and the FISC roster record his FISC term ending May 18, 2021. John D. Bates left FISC on February 21, 2013. The four Carter Page FISA applications were 2016–2017. Do not write that Mehta, Boasberg, and Bates sat the same application. Overlap is institutional. It is not a caption.
